Larry Porter, Scott White und Heinrich Köbberling traten 2006 erstmals gemeinsam als Trio auf. Ihre Zusammenarbeit ist auf der Aufnahme „Live in Berlin 2006“ mit Kompositionen von Thelonious Monk zu hören. 20 Jahre später treffen sie sich erneut zu ihrem Reunion Trio. Scott lebt inzwischen wieder in Kanada und wird dies durch seine Reise nach Deutschland im Mai 2026 ermöglichen. Ihre Musik zeichnet sich durch rhythmische Schärfe, improvisatorischen Einfallsreichtum und lebendiges Zusammenspiel aus. Larry Porter, Scott White and Heinrich Köbberling were originally performing together in trio in 2006. Their work can be heard on the recording Live In Berlin 2006 playing compositions of Thelonious Monk. Now 20 years later they will get together once more to form their Reunion Trio. Scott is living in the meantime back in Canada and will make it all possible by traveling to Germany in May 2026. Their music is characterized by its rhythmic edge, improvisational inventiveness and lively interplay.
